These amazing events and milestones are celebrated in this collection of unused baseball game tickets. Featured are September 5 and September 6, 1995 Orioles Camden Yards single tickets for Ripken Jr. tying and breaking Lou Gehrig’s consecutive games played record, along with a June 14, 1996 Orioles vs. K.C. Royals at Kauffman Stadium single ticket, when Ripken Jr. broke Kinugasa of Japan’s record of 2,216 consecutive games played. A full, unused ticket for Game 6 of the 1993 World Series (Carter’s home run) and another single ticket from Game 2 are also featured among full, unused game tickets for Boggs’ 3000th hit (2), Murray’s 3000th hit (5), McGwire’s 69th and 70th home runs in 1998, McGwire’s 500th home run (2), Clemens’ 3000th strikeout, and the 1991 All-Star Game workout day (2). Ripken Jr. memorabilia also includes a September 6, 1995 commemorative cachet envelope postmarked “2131 Record Breaking Station, Baltimore, MD 21233” with Gehrig stamp and illustrations of Ripken Jr. and Gehrig along with:
