Awesome presentation for a full run of early editions of Sports Illustrated is this eight-year bound collection spanning the years 1957-1964. A golden era covers the bulk of the Habs' five straight Stanley Cups, the Black Hawks' 1961 Cup, and three in a row for the Maple Leafs. Mantle's Yankees, Unitas and the greatest NFL game, Russell's Celtics, and the Squaw Valley, Rome, Innsbruck and Tokyo Olympics are all documented here in these issues, many with mailing labels on the cover. The first two years, 1957-58, are housed in three volumes each. These six binders are followed by two bigger binders each year for the next six years, for a total of 18 bound volumes in all, each with the months and year printed on the spine. Mailing labels are for the same subscriber and the magazines appear to be complete and whole.
Six bound volumes for 1957 and 1958 are for January-April, May-August, and September-December for both years.
Twelve bound volumes for 1959-64 are for January-June and July-December for each of the six years.
