He is family! Pittsburgh catcher Ed Ott played a key role on Willie Stargell's "We Are Family" Pirates squad that won the 1979 World Series. Ott batted .333 with 3 RBIs in the seven-game win over Baltimore. Great lot features one of Ed's late 1970s Louisville Slugger game-used bats, his Rawlings game-used catcher's mitt, and four Rawlings Feeney NL baseballs from that period. Fabulous two-tone bat displays Ed's number 14 in black marker on the knob. The handle has a crack, otherwise this A105 model with Ott's facsimile signature is nice and very solid. Ed's glove has a few team repairs and the top part of the webbing was replaced. Pine tar on the back and number 14 written twice. Two of the Feeney baseballs are quite clean, one has some tanning, and the other exhibits a fair bit of wear.
