Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2012
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/30/2012
The Expos made a big splash in 2002 when they acquired ace right-hander Bartolo Colon from Cleveland. Colon went 10-4 for Montreal and a combined 20-8 overall, finishing sixth in AL Cy Young voting despite playing half of his season in the National League! Bartolo has signed in black marker below his #40 on his Expos game-worn road jersey, offered along with his autographed game-used bat. Size "52" is written in the back of the neck of the jersey, which has Russell Athletic tagging and a size-52 flag tag on the left front tail. An MLB hologram sits to the left of Colon's autograph. Bartolo's fine silver paint pen autograph sits on the barrel of his Louisville Slugger game-used bat, which retains his original tape job on the handle.
