The late, great Gary Carter's early-1980s Montreal Expos game-worn Pony cleats were sported by the Hall of Fame catcher when he was the most dominant player at the position in all of baseball. Gary's number "8", which was retired by the Expos, is written in black marker under the "Pony" tongue of each of these size-11 shoes, surprisingly lightweight with metal cleats. Bought at auction in 1982, they show nice game wear including scuffs at the heels. Comes with a COA as well as a newspaper clipping showing the lucky winning bidder holding up her prized Carter cleats.
