The gold number “9” on the outside edge of Maurice Richard’s oldtimers game-worn Daoust skates make these blades distinctively The Rocket’s. Size 9 3/4 and width D are factory stamped on the inner heel of the boot of Maurice’s Daoust 501 skates along with “Genuine Leather”. Some nice wear to report, and a bit of crusting around the outside heel which appears to be cleanable. The Rocket’s oldtimers game-worn equipment offered also features Richard’s blue Canadiens hockey pants with red and white bands on the sides and lots of wear, and his Sher-Wood hockey bag with “V. Hadfield 41” embroidered on one side and “M. Richard” handwritten on it. “Richard, Maurice” is handwritten on the size XL tagging inside the rear of his black training suit-style pants from the 1990 All-Star Game in Pittsburgh. The Rocket’s well-worn pair of black Cooper hockey gloves are also included and Maurice customized his Winwell shinpads by making the plastic pads at the bottom smaller by cracking off the edges, which are ragged. Richard’s jockstrap and cup and an extra set of suspenders round out this oldtimers game-worn equipment lot which comes with an LOA from the Richard family.
