Fun array of mostly Canadiens goodies spans six decades and dates back to the 1940s, with a dozen Parade Sportive photos highlighted by the Punch Line, a trio featuring Durnan, Bouchard and Lamoureux, a red-tinted Georges Mantha, Elmer Lach and Chicago’s Pony Line. Rocket Richard is on the cover of a 1946 Le Samedi publication, while a close-to-18”-square piece of wax paper never used to wrap up a loaf of Rocket Richard Supreme Bread has survived in nice tear-free condition, as has an original Prudential Life Insurance print of Richard. A Blueline hockey magazine premium features a Tex Coulter painting of Richard and his son and is also crease-free and EX+ and joined by miscellaneous Richard postcards and items from his fishing line company. A dozen Chex photos from the 1960s have scuffs more than creases as flaws and are still in collectible condition, with Habs Richard, Gauthier, Reaume and Gilles Tremblay joined by Toronto Hall-of-
Famers Duff, Kelly, Keon, Mahovlich and Pulford, as well as Harris, Litzenberger and Simmons. There are over one hundred Canadiens team-issued postcards, mostly from the 1980s, over a hundred Dimanche Derniere Heure photos on paper stock and also including Montreal Expos and wrestlers, along with one autographed by Jean Beliveau, five sets of Steinberg postcard-like cards in albums and 12 different Provigo Canadiens figurines from the ‘80s, along with 16 duplicates, including seven of Patrick Roy. Everything listed in the last sentence shows varying degrees of wear. Two different 1950s’ postcards of Jean Beliveau, Nesbitt’s and Snow White bottle caps featuring Beliveau, a recent Beliveau bobbing head doll, a few snapshots with Richard and Beliveau, a seldom-seen ensemble of 24 pictures with profiles of the late-1970s Canadiens from a French TV Hebdo publication and a few other miscellaneous items await the high bidder.
