Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2012

A sensational opportunity for puck enthusiasts is this impressive stash of mostly minor pro pucks, with the NHL and major junior leagues also represented. Nothing outlandishly rare or old, but the condition and variety is fantastic. A couple of dozen nice 1970s-80s AHL/WHL/CHL/IHL pucks, along with four dozen mostly 1980s' AHL biscuits, are joined by mostly 1990s and 21st century jobs from the ECHL (240), AHL (135), IHL (114), new CHL (81), Colonial/UHL (97), WPHL & WCHL (72) and WHA II & SPHL (81). A wonderful array of inaugural game/season, all-star, playoff, anniversary and special pucks of the sort, along with cool logos, combine for a killer collection, with a mix of game and souvenir pucks. Newer NHL game pucks (78) include Cup finals, all-star, Winter Classic and similar special event pucks, while (123) OHL/WHL/QMJHL junior pucks are mostly from the '80s and up. Please visit our website for more info on this beautiful booty. Older NHL gamers are North Stars, Flames and Rangers Viceroys with crazed logos and a nicer Canucks skate logo Viceroy. Old WHL Converse pucks with rubber logos and screened back logos are in tiptop shape, with the San Diego Gulls, Portland Buckaroos, Denver Spurs and Seattle Totems present, while similar AHL Converse gamers include the Providence Reds and two Richmond Robins. Some notable '70s/'80s teams from other leagues include the likes of the Toledo Blades, Toledo Hornets, Broome Dusters, Winston-Salem Polar Twins, Roanoke Valley Rebels, Tidewater Sharks, Waterloo Black Hawks, Montana Magic, Wichita Wind, Salt Lake Golden Eagles (three different), Lansing Lancers, Chicago Cardinals, Fort Worth Texans, Flint Spirits, Saginaw Hawks and (CHL) Cincinnati Stingers. A couple of superb older OHA junior pucks feature logos of the St. Catharines Black Hawks and the Peterborough TPT Petes. Also to mention in the “newer” category are late '90s and 2001 AHL, IHL and ECHL playoff pucks known as head-to-head or dueling pucks, done up for each particular playoff series and featuring the logos of the two teams facing one another. Again, condition tends to be first-rate across the board, with a box of miscellaneous hockey guides and baseball handbooks thrown in to bring the total to 14 boxes(!) and prompting us to mention the special shipping/pick-up arrangements to be discussed. There will surely be several “shooters” but only one will be able to score!
