Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2012
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/30/2012
The good ol' rubber-crested game pucks with "Original Six" team logos such as the Rangers and Red Wings biscuits offered are forever in demand. Both pucks date from the early-1960s when Gordie Howe was leading the NHL in scoring and the Rangers played at the old MSG. All of the octagonal crests have the black outline around the edge. The Red Wings puck has no significant flaws other than rubber loss on the right edge of the team crest. The Rangers puck has a few nicks/cuts on the NHL face and two variations of "October 1961" handwritten on the crests on both sides.
