A program from one of Howie Morenz's last games is among the 13 vintage NHL game programs from the early 1930s through 1950 featured in this big lot. Morenz appears in the Canadiens's lineup in the less-than-perfect but complete Chicago Stadium program included here from the Habs' game against the Black Hawks on January 24, 1937. Included among these vintage programs are four each of Maple Leafs and Bruins, a pair of Rangers, another Black Hawks program and a Red Wings. A total of 95 programs are included here overall with the others from a variety of leagues, including a 1928 Yale-Princeton program. Maple Leafs programs (4): Nov. 6, 1937 vs. N.Y. Americans (fountain pen notation on cover); Nov. 14, 1942 vs. Chicago (damaged, tape-repaired spine, torn cover; Jan. 10, 1948 vs. Chicago (date written on cover in red ink, torn cover along spine); Jan. 4, 1950 vs. Chicago.
Bruins programs (4): Feb. 12, 1935 vs. Toronto (tape-repaired spine); Feb. 18, 1941 vs. Toronto; Mar. 28, 1946 vs. Detroit; Dec. 1, 1948 vs. Chicago.
Rangers programs (2) with lineup inserts: Dec. 17, 1935 vs. Montreal; Oct. 29, 1947 vs. Boston (four holes punched in left side near spine);
Black Hawks program from Feb. 4, 1945 vs. Toronto.
Red Wings program from Nov. 21, 1948 vs. Montreal (written notations on lineup pages).
