Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2012
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/30/2012
Wicked-looking one-piece curved wood stick from the turn of the 20th century was used for ice hockey or ice polo, a precursor to the modern game that was popular in the late 1800s. This antique beauty measures 43 inches long and displays game wear in the form of a chipped bottom edge on one side of the blade and various nicks and marks. Otherwise solid and crack-free, this dark wood antique stick will make for a sensational display piece for a vintage hockey stick or equipment display.
