Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2012
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/30/2012
On May 2, 1967, before a packed house at Maple Leaf Gardens, the Toronto Maple Leafs won their fourth Stanley Cup in six years, and the last of the "Original Six" era, beating the Montreal Canadiens 3-1 in Game Six of the Cup Final. As Toronto fans know all too well, the Leafs haven't won a Cup in the 45 years since that epic evening, and with each passing decade the '67 team gains more iconic status. Among the 11 future Hall of Famers on that squad were goalies Terry Sawchuk and Johnny Bower, Dave Keon, Red Kelly, Frank Mahovlich and Tim Horton. The offered program from that historic game is complete and in sharp Ex/Nm condition, with Horton featured prominently on its cover.
