Complete, Ex/Nm condition program for Game 7 of the 1954 Stanley Cup Finals, played April 16th of that year at Detroits' Olympia Stadium between the Red Wings and the Montreal Canadiens. These were the top two teams of the 1950's era, with an amazing 16 future Hall of Famers between them, so it was fitting that the series would go to a seventh game. 15,791 fans, the largest crowd in Detroit history, were kept on their seats as the teams battled to a 1-1 tie after three periods; then exploded when the Wings' Tony Leswick fired a shot off Doug Harvey and past Montreal goalie Gerry McNeil at 4:29 of overtime to give their team the Cup. This remains the last time to-date that a Game 7 of the Finals has been decided in overtime.
