Long before the Blues joined the League in 1967, St. Louis had an NHL team; as a result of the troubled Ottawa Senators franchise being transferred there in 1934-35. But they finished dead last, had poor attendance, and at the end of the year the team was disbanded, making Eagles home game programs from that single season extremely scarce. Offered here is such a rarity, from just their third appearance, a 2-1 loss on November 13, 1934 to the visiting Montreal Maroons, who would win the Stanley Cup later that season. The program is in outstanding Ex/Nm condition - clean, bright and glossy, with minor centerfold wear - likely the finest example still in existence.
