Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2012
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/30/2012
Wendel Clark’s 1998-99 Detroit Red Wings Bauer Supreme game-used stick dates to the rugged forward’s brief stint in Motown. “Clark” is stamped high on the shaft just below Wendel’s red gauze tape wrap over his white tape job on the knob. A Hockeytown Authentics hologram sticker is applied low on the front of the shaft. Wendel’s original tape job remains on the blade, with nice wear along the bottom edge particularly towards the heel. Paint chips on the shaft including the top edge at the very bottom that expose bare wood and a bit of separation at the thin piece that attaches the blade to the bottom of the shaft. Otherwise solid and crack-free game-used stick from one of the NHL’s true gamers!
