Nazem Kadri’s game-used stick dates from his second NHL game with the Toronto Maple Leafs. Kadri was drafted seventh overall by the Leafs with their first pick of the 2009 draft. He spent the 2009-10 season in the junior with the OHL London Knights and made his NHL debut as an emergency call-up for Toronto’s 3-2 loss to San Jose on February 8, 2010, his only game with the Leafs before he was returned to London. Kadri used this gamer for his second “debut” on November 13, 2010. He had one shot in 18:05 of ice time in Toronto’s 5-3 loss to Vancouver in his first of 29 games with the 2010-11 Maple Leafs. Included with his signed CCM composite game-used stick are the Maple Leafs’ and Canucks’ handwritten original official scorer’s roster sheets from Nazem’s second NHL game, respectively signed by Toronto coach Ron Wilson and Vancouver coach Alain Vigneault. Kadri has signed with his number 43 in silver paint pen across his black bulldog tape on the blade, which has a nice puck gouge on the bottom edge. “N. Kadri” factory graphics stamp is on the shaft, which also retains Nazem’s white tape knob. A Maple Leafs COA accompanies the signed game-used stick and a COA from the NHL is included with the official roster sheets from the game.
