Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2012

Martin Brodeur led the New Jersey Devils to the Stanley Cup finals for the fifth time in his illustrious career this spring. While Marty and the Devils bowed before the L.A. Kings this time, the Devils had their day three times earlier behind Brodeur’s stellar goaltending as they celebrated Cup wins in 1995, 2000 and 2003. Offered is Marty’s signed Heaton game-used goalie stick along with an autographed Brodeur #30 Devils pro-style jersey. “M Brodeur” is stamped on the shaft of Marty’s gamer which retains his white tape knob and his black bulldog tape job on the blade. Marty has placed a dedicated “A Marcel” white paint pen autograph low on the paddle just above the heel of this solid and crack-free beauty with very light game wear and a “24 Nov 1998” date stamp. Marty has signed in black marker on the “0” on the back of the Pro Player jersey with NHL Center Ice, Pro Made in Canada and size 54 flag tags in the neck. The Pro flag tag with laundry instructions on the reverse has “8 Fev. 99” written on it in black marker. A Devils 2000 Stanley Cup button is pinned onto the left breast. All hail the winningest goalie in hockey history!
