Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2012
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/30/2012
Chosen first overall by the New York Islanders in the 2009 NHL draft, John Tavares used this CCM gamer during his 2009-10 rookie season on Long Island. John recorded 24 goals and 54 points in his Islanders debut. His CCM one-piece composite game-used stick has “JT 91 J. Tavares” factory-printed on the middle of the top side of the shaft. John’s original white tape jobs on the knob and blade both display nice game use. The bottom edge of the blade tape shows nice wear and there is a light gouge in the top edge of the blade towards the toe. The shaft has a variety of marks and paint chips. A solid and crack-free rookie season gamer from one of the NHL’s rising superstars.
