Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2012
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/30/2012
Theoren Fleury hit pretty much all the heights in hockey, winning a gold medal with Team Canada’s junior team in 1988, a Stanley Cup with Calgary in 1989, and an Olympic gold medal with Canada at the 2002 Games in Salt Lake City. Theoren scored 455 goals, 633 assists and 1,088 points in 1,084 regular season games with the Flames, Avalanche, Rangers and Black Hawks. Offered is Fleury’s Titan ASD 8000 game-used stick with his very faded surname stamp still legible low on the shaft. Theoren’s number “14” is written low on his well-worn white tape knob. Two-piece gamer has a composite shaft with a Titan wood blade insert. The stick is cracked at the bottom of the shaft and at the top of the blade insert where it attaches to the shaft, though it remains a fine display piece from an all-star who averaged over a point a game for his NHL career!
