Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2012
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/30/2012
The late Bob Probert’s Easton game-used stick dates from the early 1990s. The Red Wings enforcer’s number “24” is written in black marker on the front and back at the bottom of his tape job on the knob, an elaborate ribbed affair with well-worn red gauze tape that has a long loose strand at the top. Crack-free Easton wood blade insert retains its black bulldog tape job. The black and gold Easton A/C shaft is an aluminum/carbon hybrid. The bottom of the tape job on the blade is mostly worn through and other game use shows in black marks on the heel.
