Hall of Fame defensemen Ray Bourque and Brad Park and Bruins great Wayne Cashman are among the 21 members of the 1982-83 Boston Bruins who have signed Tom Fergus’ game-used stick. The ballpoint autographs were placed along a long band of white hockey tape stretched out along the back of the shaft of Fergus’ Sher-Wood PMP 5030 gamer. Among the others who have signed are Peeters, Pederson, Marty Howe, O’Connell, MacTavish, Krushelnyski, Kasper, Kluzak, Dufour, and Bruce and Mike Crowder. “Fergus 28” is stamped on the front of the shaft with number “28” written in black marker above it. Tom’s original black tape knob remains intact with a couple of bands of clear tape wrapped around the middle of it to keep the top of the autographed tape strip attached to the stick. Tom’s black bulldog tape job remains on the blade, which displays a Bruins hub logo decal on the back and less fading within the outline of another that had been affixed on the front of the blade. Nice game wear includes black marks and red goalpost paint transfer on the shaft, which has a “November 1 1982” date stamp on the back. Comes with an LOA.
