This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/30/2012
Vintage game-used goalie sticks were wielded by all-stars Glenn “Chico” Resch and Pete Peeters. “G. Resch” factory stamp sits on the shaft of a Victoriaville Super Vic gamer from the latter stages of Chico’s career. Featuring a “Curtis Curve” handle, this Resch gamer has his number “1” written in black marker below his thick white tape job on the knob. White tape job on the blade has water stain that runs through Chico’s dedicated black marker autograph. The year “1984” and the result of a Devils-Maple Leafs game is written on another wrap of tape low on the paddle just above the heel. The upper part of the back of the shaft has a couple of chips. “Peeters 1” is stamped on Pete’s black Sher-Wood gamer which has has signed with a dedication on his well-worn white tape job on the knob. There are chips along the top edge of the paddle and the bottom edge of the blade is cracked where it has worn through Pete’s tape black bulldog tape job.
