Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2012
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/30/2012
Spectacular early-1970s Montreal Canadiens sticks include Frank Mahovlich’s game-used Victoriaville and Serge Savard’s game-issued Sherbrooke. The numbers of both legendary HOFers and their first initial and surnames are stamped on the front of their respective shafts, both of which display colourful red, white and blue Habs accent stripes. The Big M’s gamer has its original tape jobs on the knob and blade. Nice game wear shows in black marks and red goalpost paint transfer, with a crack on the bottom of the blade. The Mahovlich game-used stick has a nail hole through the middle of the shaft. The Savard game-issued stick has been nicely preserved.
