Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2012
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/30/2012
One of the top, if not the best, jersey styles in all of hockey, the Red Wings simple yet classic design features the team’s famous Winged Wheel on the crest. In addition to Detroit’s Stanley Cup powerhouse, the Red Wings uniform is widely worn by a variety of teams that treasure its magnificent colors. Offered is a 2000s Ontario minor hockey game-worn jersey from the Midget AAA Toronto Red Wings. “Toronto” patch is sewn on below the crest’s wheel and a Canadian flag patch is sewn on the right breast. Tie-neck beauty has an Oz Sports size Adult XL flag tag in the neck. The jersey measures out to roughly a size 54. “Potter” surname is spelled out in individual white twill letters sewn on in an arch just like this team’s NHL namesake. McDonalds “Stop” sign patch is sewn on above the nameplate and sponsor’s bar is sewn on below the number 7 on the back. Some black marks from game wear on the sleeves make this minor hockey gamer all set for display in a Red Wings shrine!
