Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2012
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/30/2012
Ottawa Senators defenseman Mark Borowiecki wore this distinctive pink, black and white “Coaches vs. Cancer” gamer during Clarkson University’s 2009 ECAC season. A fifth-round pick by Ottawa in 2008, Mark spent three seasons at Clarkson before making his pro debut in style, winning the Calder Cup with Binghamton. He spent most of the 2011-12 season with the AHL Senators and made his NHL debut with a pair of games with Ottawa, his hometown team. This inspirational Clarkson gamer, which was worn without a nameplate, was originally obtained directly from the team. Pink ribbon and crossed hockey sticks CVC American Cancer Society patch sits on the right breast of Borowiecki’s lightweight #55 Clarkson game-worn jersey with size 56 and OT Sports flag tags in the neck. “Hockey Coaches Care” patch is sewn on the left breast. “CU” logo on the front and numbers on the back are sewn-on white twill. Game wear shows in black marks in the pink portion of both sleeves.
