Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2012
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/30/2012
Super eye-pleasing red, white and blue jersey features a splendid embroidered and tackle twill Hall of Fame crest and was donned by one of the greatest defencemen to ever don Montreal’s red, white and blue colors. Larry Robinson wore this jersey while playing for the Original Six team in the Hockey Hall of Fame’s 2004 Legends Classic Heritage game. As typical of that kind of event, the jersey exhibits little sign of use and is in tiptop shape. Size XXL, by Athletic Knit and with “Robinson” sewn across a nameplate on the back, it is on the “9” below where Larry penned a nice big black sharpie autograph. A “Shoot for a Cure” certificate of authenticity signed by Barry Munro, the president of the Canadian Spinal Research Organization, will be included.
