Veteran defenseman Steve Staios found a home in Edmonton in 2001-02, his first of eight seasons with the Oilers that included their 2006 run to the Stanley Cup Final. Offered is Staios’ game-worn Oilers jersey from the team’s first white set of the 2001-02 season. Elite Sportswear and size 58 flag tags sit in the back of the neck and the Elite 2001-02 Oilers Set 1 patch is sewn inside the rear hem. There are a pair of team repairs on the back of the right sleeve, which also displays red paint transfer and black marks, including some solid ones to the left of the number 24 and at the bottom of the secondary logo patch on the top of the right shoulder. There are a couple of black marks in the copper oil drop on the team crest and more black marks on the front, which also displays a sewing fix, as well as a couple of unrepaired nicks on the left sleeve and red paint transfer on the rear tail. Comes with an Oilers LOA signed by Kevin Lowe as well as a MeiGray certificate of registry.
