The 2001 NHL All Star Game was held at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado and featured a North American lineup facing off against the best players from Europe and elsewhere. Russian-born Sergei Samsonov suited up for the World Squad and his striking red CCM-made uniform has been autographed on the back between the numbers. Samsonov was in the midst of a 29-goal season when he took a break for the All Star festivities. Patching includes the 2001 All-Star Game patch sewn on the right breast, the Bruins crest on the right shoulder with a Russia flag patch on the left shoulder. Size 54 and CCM "Made in Canada" tags are sewn into the neck and the fight strap is intact, complete with the NHL's authentication number tag tnat indicates this jersey was worn for the pre-game warmpup skate. The NHL shield design and the NHLPA logo are sewn onto the outer rear hem. Game wear on this consists of some staining on the right sleeve.
