Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2012
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/30/2012
Varied lot of hockey jackets and coats includes Wilfred Paiement’s Quebec Nordiques winter coat. Wilf has signed with his number 27 inside the left breast of this blue beauty which features chenille Nords crest on the left breast and Fleur de Lys at the cuff. What a find! Label in the neck indicates that it was made specifically for the Quebec Nordiques. No size label but Wilf’s a pretty big guy so there’s some room even by the era’s tighter fit. Other defunct teams included here are the WHA Houston Aeros, with a blue windbreaker-style button front jacket with the team name screened on the right breast and a Howe (really!) Athletic Apparel, Memphis, Tenn., label in the neck and size XL and laundry flag tags. An NHL Colorado Rockies training suit by Champions features navy pants and a screaming yellow jacket. The C team logo is screened on the the left breast and number 3 is screened on the right sleeve. “3” is also written in black marker on the size XL tagging in the neck of the zipper-front workout jacket. The size M tag in the back of the pants has number “4” written on it in black marker. Also included is Claude Loiselle’s NHLPA jacket with his name written on the leather tag in the back of the neck which has a size XL flag tag at the bottom. A vintage tie-neck Rangers souvenir jersey with a Bauer tag in the neck and number “9” in blue and red double twill on the back and both sleeves measures out to roughly a size 40. It is about 25” long from the collar to the tail.
