Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2012
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/30/2012
2010 Olympic gold medalist Roberto Luongo was carrying some baggage when he left Florida, namely this Panthers goalie equipment back which accompanied him when he joined the Vancouver Canucks for the 2006-07 season. Offered is Luongo’s last Panthers equipment bag with his number “1” on a Panthers card displayed in the bag’s plastic window. The Panthers’ logo is screened on both sides of this huge zippered bag, which displays some unrepaired cuts and holes from being hauled all over North America, including its long, final flight to Canada’s jewel on the Pacific. The white plastic piping is split in two along the bottom edge of one side that has an unrepaired hole along the seam. That said, it’s all set to be left for suitable display, or stitched up to schlep more gear with an NHL pedigree for beer-league bragging rights!
