The 2005-06 season was a magical one for the Edmonton Oilers as they went on a playoff run that took them to the Stanley Cup final for the first time since 1990. Offered here is Oilers captain Jason Smith's game-worn white jersey from the team's first season set. Elite Sportswear and size-58 flag tags sit in the back of the neck. The Elite 2005-06 Oilers Set #1 patch is sewn inside the rear hem. Dried bloodstains dot the back of the right cuff which has an unrepaired cut. Solid red and blue paint transfer on the right shoulder and reddish stains on the left sleeve. Comes with a MeiGray/Oilers LOA. Also sewn inside the rear hem are the NHL/MeiGray patch from the unplayed previous season and the “2005-2006 Season” square patch beside it.
