Fantastic Washington Capitals game-used goalie equipment lot worn by Michal Neuvirth features the Czech goalie's Vaughn goalie pads, blocker and trapper from his 2008-09 NHL debut season. Also included are Michal's goalie pants as well as his Reebok game-used stick. Featured are Neuvirth's burgundy-themed Vaughn Velocity pads as well as the blocker and trapper in the AHL Hershey Bears' colors he used throughout his first NHL action when he appeared in five games with Washington late in the season. "Neuvirth" is embroidered on both pads and both gloves, all of which display great game use and remain in fantastic condition. A Capitals hologram sticker has been placed at the top of the inside cuff of the trapper. Michal's name is also embroidered on the Vaughn X-large tagging in the inside back hip of his game-worn goalie pants. Rounding out the lot is Neuvirth's Reebok game-used stick with a Capitals hologram sticker which has a crack in the upper shaft but remains solid. Fantastic opportunity to lay claim to recentgame-used equipment from one of the NHL's up-and-coming goalies. “Neuvirth” is embroidered in burgundy thread on the outside edge of the knee of both of Michal’s Capitals Vaughn Velocity game-worn goalie pads. These gamers remain in fantastic shape, with really nice game wear showing in black marks throughout, and bright reddish bleeding from Michal’s hockey socks.
Blocker and glove display solid game wear in the form of black markers. Nice wear on the palm of the trapper with reddish discoloration.
Dark blue Vaughn goalie pants have their original Bauer suspenders. Solid game wear includes team repair patch on the seat of the pants.
Michal’s Reebok 6K game-used goalie stick has “Neuvirth” stamped on the front of the shaft. His original white hockey tape jobs are intact on the blade, handle above the paddle, and on the knob, which has blue paint transfer on the back of the both the part on the upper shaft and on the thick knob. A Capitals hologram sticker sits below the knob on the back of the top of the shaft. Really nice game use with black marks and red goalpost paint transfer on the blade, paddle and shaft, which has a 3-inch long sliver missing from the top front edge that has been wrapped in clear tape to protect against splinters.
