Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2012
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/30/2012
Photo-matched from the Devils' second Stanley Cup season, Martin Brodeur's 1999-2000 game-used blocker is signed by the NHL's all-time wins and shutouts leader. Marty went 43-20-8 during the regular season before adding 16 more wins on the way to the Cup win over Dallas. Brodeur's black marker autograph sits high on the front of his Heaton gamer which is matched to an action shot of Brodeur from March 15, 2000. The black mark between the script "T" and "O" in Heaton is clear to see on this beauty with "Martin Brodeur" embroidered in black thread along the upper right edge. Nice game wear with black marks and a cracked and worn Heaton sticker on the bottom of the blocker, which has just a tiny hole in the tip of the glove's pinky finger.
