Glen Hanlon's 1978-79 rookie-season Vancouver Canucks game-worn jersey from the team's first year wearing this unforgettable V style is photo-matched! Hanlon, who appeared in four games the previous year, posted a 3.10 GAA and three shutouts in 31 games as a rookie. Yellow mesh gamer has Goodman size 48 and Bill Vanderburg tagging sewn inside the left front tail. Canucks logo patches are sewn on at the top of each sleeve. This remarkable Canucks game-worn jersey is photo-matched to a black mark on the front of the right sleeve, to the right of the black twill number "1" sewn on above the cuff. The small dot of a mark clearly shows on an action shot of Hanlon on the cover of a Canucks game program, which is included along with a copy of the team's 1979-80 media guide with another picture of Hanlon on the cover. More game wear includes marks on the back of the left shoulder, the back of the left sleeve, which has a small hole in the orange fabric, more marks on the right cuff and the right underarm, and faint marks on the left front tail. One of the most-talked-about jersey styles in hockey history!
