Goaltending great Dan Bouchard wore this 1979-80 Atlanta Flames jersey for home games in the team's final season at the old Omni before moving north to Calgary. Bouchard saw the lion's share of the net during the Flames' eight seasons in Atlanta, where he went 164-134-72 overall with 20 shutouts in 384 regular season games. White mesh affair features nicely-preserved rubberized Atlanta Flames team crest on the front. Red and yellow colour bands on the sleeves and around the waist are also heat-screened, a little more faded than the same material for the numbers on the back and both sleeves. The shoulder yoke is a red mesh insert. A fight strap loop is sewn inside the back and Russell Athletic size XL tagging sewn into the back of the neck has a Reeder & McGaughey flag tag on the right side. Surname letters are spelled out in sewn-on red and gold double-twill on a sewn-on white mesh nameplate. The cuffs below the sleeves' color bands are white airknit inserts, as is the hem below the red and gold band around the waist. Sweat stains are gathered on the front below the collar and the airknit inserts display soiling more prominent than the rest of the mesh fabric. There are spotted stains on the front, possibly dried blood, and more game wear shows in black marks. Dan Bouchard has signed the LOA that accompanies this superb gamer from his and the Flames' last season in Atlanta.
