Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2012
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/30/2012
A couple of boxes of cards which some youngster once had some fun with include handling and wear, with the oldest being 40+ low grade 1968-69 OPC hockey cards and the most plentiful being over 500 from’72-73. Plenty of first series duplication to mention, as well as (30) WHA third series cards, highlighted by a VG #336-Bobby Hull. Fifty-plus ’71-72 cards and over 100 miscellaneous ‘70s cards in better shape may yield a few pleasant surprises, while 40-some Lipton Soup cards are rather rough but include Orr, Dryden and Clarke. O-Pee-Chee baseball cards from Canada include over 300 from 1981 including plenty of stars and Hall-of-Famers and ditto for over 400 from ’82, although handling is evidenced by corner wear. Close to one hundred ’80 Topps football (NFL) cards are also thrown-in.
