Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2012
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/30/2012
An exquisite array of shockingly bright original colors is included in this attractive lot of C55 cards, with the front and back of Hall of Fame goaltender Percy LeSueur's card #16 looking like it was produced yesterday! We're not sure how a touch of paper loss on the lower left front corner will affect its grade, but similar beauties which are at least EX-MT and possibly even NM are #s 43-Payan and 44-Poulin, with a duplicate Poulin looking EX-MT. Joe Hall's #2 RC is crease-free with some edge chipping, while the biggest money card, that of Art Ross, is also crease-free and VG+. Ernie Johnson's #28 card would be EX+ without its soiled back, while at EX are 5-Oatman and 12-Shore. At or right around VG are 9-Lake, 10-Kerr, 17-Darragh, 23-Rowe, 34-Glass and 45-Laviolette. There are also 40-Power (G-VG), 11-Walsh (G) and at F, 13-Currie, 18-Vair and 30-Hyland.
