Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2012

Rather sharp 1958-59 Topps set exhibits very little handling and wear and tends to mirror the two key cards, led by one of the most important rookie cards of the post-war era, that of Bobby Hull. With almost standard less-than-perfect centering, card #66 has been slabbed EX-MT 6 by PSA and is joined by Gordie Howe's similar PSA 6. The raw cards look to be mostly EX-MT and NM, with a few notable exceptions and led by nicely centered cards of Delvecchio, Lindsay and Mohns, all at least NM. Sawchuk is mis-cut with a wax stain and otherwise EX-MT, with Shack at NM (OC), Hall and Bucyk EX-MT and Ullman EX. Worsley, 7-Hanna and 62-McKenney are low grade due to multiple specs of paper loss on the back and stains on the front. Finally, card #1-Armstrong is VG+. Definitely some "submittable" examples here!
