Yet another high-ranking encapsulated treasure on the famed PSA Population Report from our consignor's stellar stash, this "Ice King" card of Marty Barry was issued during his sixth NHL season and at a time when the consistent-scoring center was well on his way to establishing his Hall of Fame credentials. Destined for a Hall of Fame-caliber graded pre-war collection, this card #27 features impressive corners/edges and a nice white bilingual back, (subtle toning down one edge), and ranks second only to a NM+ 7.5 example. Six others are tied with this beauty at NM 7. Often an NHL top-5 finisher in goals, assists and points during the 1930s with Boston and Detroit, Marty scored the Stanley Cup winning goal for the Red Wings in 1937 and is ready to up your overall Ice Kings score!
