Another gorgeous gem from our consignor's pre-war stash that will up your GPA is this exceptional example of Harold McNamara's card #32 from the landmark C56 set of tobacco cards that "started it all" for hockey card collectors. An exquisite, captivating contrast of rich vivid colors here give an almost like-new appearance to produce an absolute joy to behold. Just one similar McNamara rookie card, a NM-MT 8, has ever graded higher at PSA than this EX-MT+ 6.5 example, which is alone in second place out of 61 total submissions. Listed as "George" in the record books, McNamara played for the Canadian Soo and Montreal Shamrocks before appearing with Cobalt on this card and afterwards helped the Toronto Blueshirts to the Stanley Cup in 1913-14. Yes, a winner was/is this McNamara!
