Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2012
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/30/2012
Defenseman Alexei Emelin was selected by the Montreal Canadiens 84th overall in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft and played 7 seasons in the Russian Superleague and the KHL before joining the Montreal Canadiens for the 2011-12 season. He also represented his country at the World Junior Championships in 2004, 2005 and 2006 as well as the World Championships in 2007. Considered the European Championships, the Euro Tour is viewed as the annual tune-up for the IIHF World Championships. Emelin’s red Team Russia jersey has everything sublimated on it, including his surname on a nameplate, and a sponsor patch on the lower front on a mesh plate. The jersey has Lutch tagging in the collar along with a size “56” flag tag. A good number of stick / slash marks are noticeable on the sleeves, especially the left one, with a long red paint transfer mark on the lower right sleeve.
