We always marvel at these 1974 Team Canada jerseys when they surface; they were well-made and look and feel just beautiful! Durene knit sweater has everything sewn-on in nice tackle twill, including "Canada" on the front and "International" above the "26" on the back. Defenceman Pat Price, following an outstanding four-year junior career in Saskatoon, was chosen for Team Canada after being drafted by the Vancouver Blazers, but did not see any actual action in the 8-game series between the best of the WHA and Soviet Union. An old gold, silver and black Maska company tag is in the neck of the tie-neck style jersey (with original lace through the six eyelets) and shows no game use; it is in difficult-to-hope-for-nicer condition with light stains on a few areas of the jersey to be noted. Truly a breathtaking international jersey and special piece of WHA history.
