Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2012
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/30/2012
With a narrow 1-0 victory over Ontario, Calgary's Alberta Brake & Clutch team captured its third Canadian fast pitch softball championship in four years in 1988, the team playing under the "Otto Mobiles" name for its "hat trick" title. This formidable 10-karat gold keepsake was presented to shortstop Keith Lightbown and features his surname, along with "LGB 10K" markings, on the interior of the size 8-1/2 band. Keith's name and his number "12" appear on one shank, while "O M" on a black stone is encircled by "Canadian Champions" and two cubic zircons on the front, with a camper and "OTTOMOBILES" on the other shank. Worn with pride, the ring shows moderate wear with light scratches and dings.
