Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2012
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/30/2012
Impressive creation in 10-karat gold commemorates the Senior Men's Canadian National Championship captured by Alberta's Otto Mobiles fast pitch softball team in 1988. The Alberta Brake & Clutch team of Calgary, playing under the "Otto Mobiles" name, thus made it three national titles in four years. A golden "O M" on a red stone is surrounded by "Canadian Champions" and a pair of cubic zircons on the tableau, while "Chuck", a number "2" and "LF" appear on one of the shanks. That would be Chuck Graystone whose surname is etched on the interior of the size 9-1/2 band, where "LGB 10K" also is inscribed. Weighing some 30 grams, the superb souvenir exhibits moderate wear with small dings/dents and light scratches.
