Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2012
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/30/2012
For the third straight tear, the University of Alabama in Huntsville hockey Chargers met the Bemidji State University (Minnesota) Beavers for the NCAA Division II title in the spring of 1998, with the Chargers reclaiming the title from the Beavers with 6-2 and 5-2 victories. In recognition of the school's second national title in three years, UAH team members received fantastic mementos, with an impressive sea of blue here surrounded by those wonderful words "NCAA National Champions" along with the year and four glittering non-diamonds. On one shank are "UAH" and the team's "24-3-3" record, as well as a likeness of the championship trophy, while the other features a non-player "Driggers" name, a hockey player and "TH." "Jostens YLTM" appears on the interior of the size 13 ring which is in excellent condition with intermittent light scratches really only apparent upon magnification. From a fantastic time in UAH Chargers' history!
