Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2012
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/30/2012
Commemorating the Canadian Junior A championship captured by the Penticton Knights in the spring of 1986, this special memento was originally presented to Cal Brown, a late round draft pick of the Hartford Whalers following his memorable last year with the British Columbia club and before four years at Colorado College. Penticton beat the host Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia team 7-4 in the final, after taking out Orillia 7-3 in the semis. No markings on the interior of the size 10 ring, which features the Knights logo on the face. An image of the championship trophy is on one shank and a player wearing #4, with "Brown" above, is on the other. Moderate wear with scrapes, scratches and tarnish visible upon magnification.
