Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2012

The St. Catharines Teepees' solid reputation of success during their 15 seasons (1947-1962) in the OHA included the club's second national junior title in 1959-60. Backstopped by Roger Crozier and led by Chico Maki, Ray Cullen, Vic Hadfield and Pat Stapleton, the Max Kaminsky-coached Teepees edged the Toronto Marlboros in seven games for the OHA title and then copped the eastern Canadian crown by defeating the Quebec Frontenacs. A 4-games-to-2 triumph over the Edmonton Oil Kings put St. Catharines on top of the Canadian junior hockey world. Superb simplistic size 10 gold souvenir here includes scripted "J.A.M." initials (an executive?) and "10K" on the interior of the band, while "St. Catharines" and "Memorial Cup" are inscribed on crossed hockey sticks on the front, with "1960" below. "Tee" and "Pees" are on each side of the killer keepsake, with visible wear to some of the letters. An LOA will be included with this fantastic junior hockey memento.
