Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2012
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/30/2012
The 1929-30 Bruins were the most dominant regular season team in NHL history. Guided by Art Ross and led by Eddie Shore, the Bruins went an incredible 38-5-1. Their .875 winning percentage remains the highest ever! With a line-up boasting fellow HOFers Tiny Thompson, Harry Oliver, Cooney Weiland, Dit Clapper and Lionel Hitchman, the Bruins were favoured to win the Stanley Cup, but were upset in the final by Howie Morenz's Montreal Canadiens. Awesome vintage 1929-30 Bruins framed team photo displays a 7 1/2" x 9 1/2" print, with a crease in the bottom right corner where the grey matte backing is missing. With facsimile autographs along the bottom, this historic Bruins team photo is displayed in a brown matte and mounted in a 12x14 frame.
