This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/30/2012
HOFers Doug Harvey and Gump Worsley are included in the vintage autographs gathered on Johnny Bower's team-signed Toronto Maple Leafs game-used stick. The two Rangers legends, Tim Horton and Leafs coach Punch Imlach signed, along with Bower, Mahovlich, Keon, Armstrong, Stanley, Pulford, Duff and Kelly, making a total of 12 HOFers among the 25 autographs, which had varnish applied over them. Circa 1962 CCM Custom Pro gamer from one of the Leafs' first two of three consecutive Stanley Cup seasons has "Bower", "Love & Bennett" and "Brown's Sports" stamps. Tape job was removed from the knob, which is chipped at the top of the shaft. The blade's vintage tape job had a few rows removed from the toe and the bottom edge is worn through with pieces of tape missing at the heel and along the top edge. Other Maple Leafs signatures include Simmons, Stewart, Baun, Shack, Brewer, Nevin, Litzenberger, Harris and trainer Bob Haggert;
One side of the paddle has a dedicated Simmons ink autograph. Harvey has also signed in ballpoint and Bower, Imlach and Worsley have signed in pencil;
Mahovlich and Horton signed in ballpoint on the other side of the paddle, the latter somewhat faded though clearly legible;
Keon and Kelly are among the three red ballpoint autographs on the shaft above that side of the stick with the rest of those autographs, including Stanley, Pulford and Duff, in blue ballpoint.
