HOFers Terry Sawchuk and Tim Horton both signed Bob Pulford's circa 1966 game-used, stick which is autographed by 16 members of the Toronto Maple Leafs. "Pulford 20" is stamped on the front of the shaft, which is signed on one side by Sawchuk, Horton, Pulford, and fellow HOFers Mahovlich, Pronovost, Kelly, Bower and Armstrong, among others, with clearly legible ballpoint autographs. Pulford's white tape knob remains in place. The blade is mostly bare, with some white tape at the toe and cracks and wear from playing street hockey. The grouping of signatures leads us to believe that this Pulford gamer is a team-signed stick from the Maple Leafs 1966-67 Stanley Cup championship season. Stick is signed from low on the shaft to the knob by Stanley, Gamble, Kelly, Sawchuk, Horton, Walton, Pappin, Pronovost, Mahovlich, Naylor, Armstrong, Keon, Shack, Ellis, Haggert and Hillman.
Both Gamble and Pronovost started with the Leafs in 1965-66, and Sawchuk's last season with the Leafs was 1966-67. Walton was there in 1965-66 but only played 6 games, and played most of the season with the AHL Rochester Americans, including 68 regular season games and 12 more in the playoffs. Walton played 36 games with Rochester in 1966-67 and 31 regular season games with Leafs, plus 12 playoff games.
